Cost of a Burial

          Khadeeja Cemetery is a project of Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake, which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) religious organization. The only motive of our team of voluteers is to please Allah by providing HIS creation help and services when one needs them the most. Our volunteers do not charge anything for our services but maintaining a Cemetery till the end of time costs  a lot of money and so we need it to make sure we can fulfill our Cemetery obligations.

TOTAL COST:

The total cost of a burial is $4,500 and it includes everything (body pickup from your location/hospital, body washing (ghusal), shroud (kafan), Janazah, burial and headstone (this can take upto 6 months).

GRAVE PURCHASE/RESERVATION:

You can buy a grave for $1,500 only. Usually a family like to get buried together with their loves ones and so we have approximately 300 graves reserved. To buy a grave please visit the “forms” section of the site and download burial plot purchase form. Print the form and fill it completely and email it to admin@khadeejacemetery.com

We will contact you and walk you through the rest of the process, i.e., payment etc. You will receive your deeds within a week inshaAllah.

GRAVE WITH FULL SERVICES PAID:

You can now reserve a burial plot and pay for all the related expenses in advance. At this time we charge $4,100 for it. The only thing it doesn’t include is, a headstone. Headstones at this moment cost us $400 but the third-party that makes the headstones change the price so frequently that we can’t guarantee our final price of $4,500 for advance reservations. We have close to 60 graves that are reserved with full services included.
